Urban Canyon Guitar Repair is located in midtown Manhattan at NYC Guitar School. Many students are our customers, but you don’t have to be a student at the school to visit our shop! You’ll find that both the school and the shop are friendly places, full of happy and motivated guitar players.

It’s best to contact me first to let me know when you’d like to drop off your instrument.
- For setups & many types of repairs, turn around time is usually about a week or less. Sometimes walk-ins are possible, especially for string changes.
- Find me in the repair shop most afternoons and evenings on Mondays, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, and sometimes on Saturday, and Sunday.
- For a specific time to drop off, make an appointment.
- If the door is open, feel free to drop in with questions about your instrument!
- Rush service is usually not available.
About
Elizabeth Cornell, owner, has maintained and repaired the guitars for NYC Guitar School and Funkadelic Studios (located in Times Square), since 2022. I have had the good fortune to train with some of the top luthiers in the United States. From my teachers and mentors, I have drawn their best methods and techniques to provide excellent repair work for my clients, many of whom are repeat customers.
